Corrections and fact-checking

Roadblock aims to be accurate first and fast second. Every price, fine, fee and specification we publish is checked against an official source: the brand or its authorised UAE distributor for car prices and specs, and the RTA, Dubai Police, Abu Dhabi Police, the Ministry of Interior or the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure for fines, tolls, rules and fuel prices.

How we correct mistakes

When we get something wrong we fix it quickly and say so. Small fixes (a typo, a broken link) are corrected without a note. Anything that changes a fact, a price or a conclusion is corrected in the article with a dated note at the end explaining what changed.

Report an error

Spotted something wrong? Email hello@roadblock.ae with the link and what needs fixing. We read every message.

Things that change often

Fuel prices change monthly, and fines, Salik rates and parking fees can change at short notice. Our guides show when they were last updated. Always check the official source before you rely on a figure.
